Chocolate Marshmallow Fudge Sauce

Sugar not being an evil thing, a treat now and again is not a bad thing. This uses some commercialized ingredients. Choose the best you can, and enjoy.

I like being able to make, and can, my own dessert items, and this fudge sauce is really a fudge sauce, not just a chocolate sauce. I'm not a fan of Hershey syrup on ice-cream, I prefer a really good FUDGE sauce. This one has a mild milk chocolate flavor, and a nice semi-firm texture.

Chocolate Marshmallow Fudge Sauce

1 1/2 cups sugar
1/2 cup margarine or butter
1 1/2 cup milk
1 lg pkg Mini Marshmallows
2 pkg semisweet chocolate chips
1/2 tsp vanilla extract

Boil sugar, margarine, and milk for 4 min, stir in marshmallows and choc chips and vanilla and melt until smooth.

Pour into 7 half pint jars, water bath for 10 min.

Heat before serving, this sauce DOES go semi-solid in the jar.
